Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why does MustSleep need Screen Time permission?
MustSleep uses Apple Screen Time capabilities to lock the apps you choose during your scheduled sleep time. This permission is used only for user-initiated self-restriction and is not used to monitor others.
2. Why did app locking not start?
Please check the following:
- Screen Time permission has been granted
- You selected apps to lock in MustSleep
- The current time is within the plan’s lock period
- The plan is enabled
- MustSleep’s Screen Time permission has not been disabled in iOS Settings
If you recently changed a plan, wait a moment or reopen the app and check again.
3. Why are apps still locked after wake time?
Open MustSleep first and check whether the plan status has refreshed. If apps are still locked, check Screen Time permission or try authorizing MustSleep again in iOS Settings.
4. What is Hard Mode?
With Hard Mode on, the plan cannot be turned off, deleted, or edited inside MustSleep during lock time. You still keep system-level control and can manage permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Does MustSleep collect my app usage data?
No. MustSleep does not upload detailed app usage data, and it does not upload the list of apps you choose to restrict. Plans, records, and statistics are stored primarily on your device.
6. What should I do if subscriptions cannot be loaded?
Check your network connection and make sure your App Store account is available. You can also reopen the subscription page later. If the issue continues, please contact us by email.
7. How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store. On your iPhone, open Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find MustSleep, and manage or cancel the subscription there.
